Unidad RegionalUniversitaria Sursureste
En las márgenes del Río Puyacatengo y enmarcada en la selva tropical de Tabasco, se encuentra la Unidad Regional Universitaria Sursureste.
En el año 1974 se crea el Centro Regional de Especialización e Investigación Agrícola Tropical, en San José Puyacatengo, Teapa, Tabasco. Posteriormente en 1982 pasa a ser el Centro Regional Universitario del Sureste (CRUSE) y en 2011 se convierte en la Unidad Regional Universitaria Sureste.
Misión
Es un programa académico que forma profesionistas de manera integral y líderes de la agronomía con alto nivel académico, juicio humanista, crítico, democrático y científico, capaces de innovar el desarrollo rural sustentable del trópico mexicano, comprometidos institucionalmente con la sociedad.
Visión
Ser el programa educación superior con mayor importancia a nivel nacional e internacional por su calidad, pertinencia de sus contenidos y métodos pedagógicos innovadores en la información integral de agrónomos especializados en el trópico; Líder en investigación y emprendimiento, para contribuir al desarrollo rural sustentable, atendiendo a los cambios de la modernidad.
